Jay is a composer based in Brooklyn, NY and is particularly interested in projects set in and around the metro area. His latest score for the Reese Witherspoon-produced SOMETHING FROM TIFFANY’S will premier this holiday season in theaters and on Amazon. Recently he also wrapped RABBLE ROUSERS, a documentary about the forces behind NYC gentrification and urban displacement. He has also worked with Paul Feig (THE HOSTAGE), Alicia Silverstone (CLUELESS, SISTER OF THE GROOM) Sean Baker (GREG THE BUNNY, THE FLORIDA PROJECT), Marc Meyers (MY FRIEND DAHMER, HOW HE FELL IN LOVE), Kirsten Smith (LEGALLY BLONDE), and celebrated documentarian Errol Morris. He has written dozens of campaign themes, most notable IBM's "Watson and Me" series of commercials featuring Ridley Scott, Serena Williams, Bob Dylan and the late Carrie Fisher. Jay also composed scores for the Peabody Award Winner EGG THE ARTS SHOW for Thirteen. He is a graduate of Tufts University (BA), and The New England Conservatory of Music (MM).
